Peg Miller was a champion of social and economic justice and she passed away today. On a personal level it is a loss that I am still processing.

Having served with Peg in various Democratic Party roles, she was a constant and kind progressive ever ready to lend her voice, her time, her photography and her financial support to advance the public good.

In an arena dominated by unchecked egos. Peg’s compassion and sense of balance provided a welcome respite.

Peg Miller was the long serving editor to the Boone County Democratic newsletter. A role in which she recruited bright and opinionated citizens to offer perspectives and analysis on a comprehensive list of topics. Viewpoints that usually left the reader entertained and informed to better understand the challenges of our common citizenry of this country and the world entire.

Peg’s passion for photography provided a documentary record of people and events for both the notable and the aspiring citizens alike. Peg’s quiet contribution in this regard will be part of her on-going legacy that will be regularly missed.

I will miss her and feel that the blessings of her loving heart displayed throughout her life are at peace in the grace of her rest.

  1. I like the Walker taot..sNpeice how Walker got more excited talking about Reagan firing the PATCO union members than he did talking about Mika’s total hotness. It was a very engorging conversation for him with his buddies when he gets to unabashedly venerate St. Ronnie as he heads into battle. Joan of Arc revisited with visions from on high?
