After being forced out of his profitable College Avenue location, Barry Manthe returns to familiar territory, setting up his brothel within earshot of his former Camelot house. Marked with a Green Bay Packers emblem, the location would become an institution that police would leave virtually undisturbed for years.
Police Protected Pimp utilizes interviews, police reports and other evidence to explore the relationship between the Columbia Missouri Police Department and Barry Manthe, a long time sex trafficker who was granted virtual immunity in exchange for acting as a police informant.
